1. Age:

  • You are 18-24 years old you get 25 points.

  • If you are 45-49 years old you cannot get any points.

2. English language skills:

  • If you have Proficient English you get 10 points (IELTS 7.0 overall, not less than 7.0 for each of the 4 bands);
  • If you have superior English you get 20 points  (IELTS 8.0 overall, not less than 8.0 for each of the 4 test components).
  • No point if you score less than 7 on the IELTS test.

3. Skilled employment experience:

For skilled employment in Australia with 8 to 10 years of experience from the date of application, a maximum of 20 points will be given. Skilled employment Outside of Australia with 8 to 10 years of experience going back from the date of your PR application will get 15 points.

Outside Australia.

  • If you have at least 3 but less than 5 years of experience you get 5 points.
  • If you have at least 5 but less than 8 years of experience you get 10 points.
  • If you have at least 8 years of experience you get 15 points.

4. Education

You acquire if you have an Australian diploma or trade qualification, or if the relevant assessing authority recognizes another qualification as appropriate for your occupation you get 10 points 

Bachelor’s degree obtained in Australia or another recognized bachelor’s qualification, you get 15 points.

Doctoral degree obtained in Australia or another recognized Ph.D. qualification 20 points.

For a research or master’s degree or a doctorate in a relevant field that you completed in Australia over the course of at least 2 years. The degree must be in the subject of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), natural and physical sciences, information technology, engineering, or allied technologies. You get 10 points.

If your qualification obtained in Australia meets the Australian study requirements you obtain 5 points.

  • It lasted for 2 academic years, and you spent at least 16 months studying in Australia;
  • Your course must be in English.

5 points for studying in regional Australia.

Know one of 58  Australian community languages and successfully pass the NAATI test and get 5 points.  It is offered by the government to promote multiculturalism, this exam is also known as community language points. You will be required to take this test in Australia.

5. Partner Skills:
