Steps to do Straight Angle Pose:
If you are going to practice Samakonasana for the first time, then following steps may help you to make this yoga pose –
- First of all, lay a mat on a flat ground and stand on it in Tadasana posture.
- Keep a little distance between both the legs and raise both the hands up and bring them in front of the chest.
- Now while taking a deep breath, slowly start tilting the body forward and take it up to 90 degrees.
- During this, keep the knees straight and keep eyes on the ground.
- Now keep the neck in line with the spine.

Precautions during Straight Angle Pose:
Samakonasana practice is usually done under the supervision of a yoga instructor and during this it is necessary to take the following precautions –
- First of all, do warm-up and stretching exercises well and do not eat or drink anything just before starting yoga practice.
- Do not do any action by force or let there be any shock in the body
- During this, keep full focus on the yoga posture only.
