You can get the maximum number of tags from this section. Pay more attention to parabolas, circles, ellipses, straight lines and hyperbolas. Of all these straight lines and circles are the most important.
3. 3D Geometry and Vectors: This unit is very complex and conceptual. Its weight in JEE is somewhat similar to Coordinate Geometry. It also includes mixed numbers with some geometry parts. If you have a good understanding of some complex concepts of vectors and 3D geometry, you can easily score good marks from this section. Try to develop the strengths of the fundamentals and focus more on understanding this unit through visualization.
4. Algebra: This unit is very interesting and some important topics like logarithms, matrices, determinants and quadratic equations are very easy to understand and are among the favorite things of many students. There have been quite a few questions on Complex Numbers Combined with Vectors many times in JEE Mains and Advances. In JEE Advanced, you can expect a Matrix and Deterministic Slice type question and this may be the easiest question to answer. You can also expect some permutation and combination conceptual questions. Formula-based questions are usually asked about sequence, series and binomial theorem. So by avoiding silly mistakes you can easily score good grades in this part.
5. Trigonometry: It is one of the most important topics for JEE Main. Inverse trigonometry, trigonometric functions and trigonometric ratios are some of the most pressing topics that you need to focus on. Since many questions are asked in this unit, having a knack for some basic trigonometric concepts can definitely benefit a JEE student. To score good marks in this section, you must memorize all the trigonometric formulas along with graphs and substitutions.

Highest Weightage Topics for Maths section in JEE main 2022

Maths can be the most scoring section for the students but it requires a lot of practice.  The mathematics syllabus contains about 25 chapters. But for the JEE Mains most important chapters are –
