The South in the Alicante region with places such as Orihuela Costa and La Zenia but also Torrevieja and Guardamar del Segura are especially popular in buying property, due to

Around Marbella you find the most beautiful golf courses in Spain, that’s why the South of Spain is also called the Costa del Golf. You will come across in this region many new development projects often very high standards and luxurious quality as well the price is average higher as in other parts. The new developments of Properties in Spain over the last 10 years has the advantage that they attract many Estate agents. The building
requirements over recent years have been much stricter as in the previous 10 years, it will not surprise you that the insulation values are much better nowadays as in older Properties. Big advantage buying a property recent build, will use most of the time much less energy. At the moment, we see a trend of buying apartments in the Estepona region,
because of the still favorable price compared with other parts. It’s close distance with Marbella, there is certainly an expectation that is already showing a rapid increase in prices in the coming years. An Apartment in or close to Marbella is often more expensive, so many people now opt for the region above Marbella south. In fact, all regions are easily
accessible and conveniently located with major airport Malaga fairly close by and excellent roads. In addition to this region, you have the region between the south side of Málaga towards Marbella, places such as Benalmádena, Fuengirola, Torremolinos, plus the region of Higueron West, very famous with large new development projects where you will find a large number of projects ongoing with very high standard and the offer a lot of facilities. On the north side of Malaga you will find Nerja and its surroundings, where the prices are often more favorable due to lower cost in land prices.
